With the support of mentoring from Agfa HealthCare and industry professionals, student will be given access to wide variety of resources to help excel in preparing their proposal and presentation

Last Year's Recap
Last year's competition ran from October 30, 2008 to November 18, 2008 and was open to students at the University of Waterloo and Conestoga College. The kick-off event attracted close to 130 students from different faculties such as Engineering, Science and Business. Over 30 initial proposals were submitted. Upon review, top 10 teams were selected to the finals and had the unique opportunity of presenting their innovative ideas to a panel of judges consisted of Agfa HealthCare and healthcare professionals. The winning team won a 4-day all-expense-paid trip to Belgium and pitched their idea to the Agfa HealthCare CTO!

Proposal Submission - November 2, 2009
Proposals will be due by 8:00 am on Nov 2nd. Results will be posted within the week.
Mentoring Session - November 13, 2009
Mentoring session will consist of representatives from Agfa HealthCare, sponsoring institutions and local companies.
Finalist Presentation - November 14, 2009
Finalists will present to a panel of judges and winners will be notified at the end of the competition.
Prizes
1st PlaceEach member of the winning team will win an all expense paid trip to Europe to present their eHealth Innovation case study to Agfa HealthCare Executives (approximate value of $2,000 per team member). Dates of travel are before December 1, 2009.
2nd Place
Each member of the team will win one Netbook.
3rd Place
Each member of the team will win an iPod Touch.
